TERMITE INSPECTIONS

Professional Approach...

For your convenience, we also provide our clients with the opportunity to add-on an inspection for wood destroying insects.  After the inspection you will be given a full report showing if you have an active infestation of wood destroying insects.  While dealing with an infestation is not exactly fun, it is my opinion that it is always better to know. We won't leave you hanging there, after all, we pride ourselves on educating our clients. You will be provided information on what steps to take next, with the hopes that you will be able to make the next decision with confidence.

If there is not an active infection present you will be provided with a description and location of conditions that are conducive to insects that cause damage to structural and framing members. The strategy here is that the best offense is a good defense and prevention will ensure that you position yourself in the best way to keep these pest from invading your home.

Allow us to take the stress away from your next property purchase with a thorough examination of your property.

Commercial Property Assessments

A Step Above...

A commercial property inspection is a thorough assessment of a commercial building or property to evaluate its condition, structural integrity, systems, and overall safety. It is usually conducted before a property is bought, sold, or leased, helping the buyer or tenant make informed decisions.

Here are some key aspects that are typically covered during a commercial property inspection:

  1. Structural Integrity: The foundation, framing, walls, floors, and roof are examined for any signs of damage, deterioration, or potential failure.

  2. Mechanical Systems: heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, plumbing, and electrical systems. Inspectors check for function, efficiency, and safety.

  3. Safety and Accessibility: The property’s compliance with safety regulations, such as fire codes, emergency exits, fire alarms, and accessibility standards (ADA compliance), is reviewed.

  4. Interior and Exterior Condition: Inspectors assess the overall condition of the building's interior (floors, ceilings, walls) and exterior (façade, windows, doors). They also check for issues like leaks, cracks, and potential water damage.

  5. Environmental Concerns: Depending on the location and use of the property, environmental hazards like organic, asbestos, lead paint, or hazardous materials may be checked.

  6. Pest and Rodent Inspection: A thorough check for any signs of infestation or damage caused by pests, rodents, or termites.

  7. Compliance with Local Laws and Regulations: Inspectors may review the property’s compliance with local zoning laws, building codes, and other regulatory requirements.

A detailed inspection report will be provided, outlining any issues found, potential risks, and estimated repair costs. This report is critical for decision-making, negotiation, and ensuring that the property is a sound investment or safe environment for occupancy.
